Hello everyone~
I am a History teacher in Singapore by profession. Coming from a multi-cultural and open society, I am respectful, kind and compassionate person. I am also a non-smoker.
Besides that, I am an easy-going person, accommodative and always make do with the best situation.
I enjoy socialising, having a drink or two with friends, and at the same time, appreciate quiet chill moments such enjoying a cuppa at a cafe engaged in meaningful conversations with friends; and watching the world go by.

I believe in "Kindness begets kindness" and I have received much kindness from strangers, people whom I am not familiar with during my time travelling around on my own. Hence, whenever and wherever possible, I treat people with kindness.
I am currently taking a break from work and travelling solo around Europe.
I enjoy travelling and making new friends from different backgrounds and cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy getting to know the many different people, culture and life's experiences during my travels. The best way to do so I feel, as a solo traveller, is through couchsurfing.

I did my first couch surfing in 2015 , in South Korea. It has been 10 years since I do this. A recent reconnection with the host, Deric, and also interactions with many young travellers (with all their wonderful experiences on couch surfing) brought me back to this platform. I believe Destiny is calling out to me to go on a wonderful and memorable journey through this method.

I hope to get to talk to people, learn about their stories and have the chance to share all these experiences when I return home.

Interests

I love to learn about the History, Culture and stories of the places and people that I come across.
In my free time, I like to take a cuppa at cafes to watch the world go by and listen to stories shared by travellers and people from different walks of life.
I love the outdoors, running and visiting musuems.
