I'm a laid back Aussie backpacking around Europe with my partner Shiv (29, also Australian). We love travel and spent most of last year backpacking in South and Central America! We love cooking elaborate dinners (let us cook for you!) and enjoy a nice glass of wine or a cold beer with friends. We love hiking, being outside, a good produce market and meeting new people!

I had really positive experiences both Couchsurfing and hosting in the past and have loved the new friendships and cool experiences that it has brought me. My partner Shiv is new to Couchsurfing but she loves the ethos behind this wholesome cultural/social exchange 🫶

兴趣

As we said we LOVE to cook and Shiv is a crazy vegetarian chef. Shiv loves a new recipe and we try cook new recipes for ourselves at least a few times a week. My specialty is fresh pasta! We both are musicians and love to sing/play guitar. We spent some time on a commune in Ecuador last year and have developed a love of permaculture and foraging - especially the farm to table aspect of this!

Between Shiv and I we have I’d say a pretty wide breadth of tunes in our libraries! We love Fiona Apple, Tom Waits, Brittany Howard and Haley Heynderickx. But anything soul/blues/folk we usually love!

We’ve been reading a bunch lately and have enjoyed Sally Rooney’s stuff, and have recently read; Pageboy by Elliot Page, Big Swiss by Jen Beagin and Trent Dalton’s Boy Swallows Universe.

We have been down a rabbit hole with Ru Paul’s Drag Race and ‘Alone’ recently but we are trying to read more than we watch!

We hitched a ride on a 14 hour cargo ship off the coast of Nicaragua to the corn islands in the Caribbean!

We would love to share our knowledge of cooking vegetarian food! We’re currently learning Spanish and would love to practice too but no stress if not:) keen to learn about your country and hear your travel stories too. I’m also trying to practice a bit more yoga so would be happy to share that practice too!
