Hello you!

I am a 22-year-old Singaporean currently on exchange in the UK. Now that summer has descended upon us all, I am on a mission to backpack one of the grandest and richest (in terms of art, culture and history) continents in the world: Europe! As it is technically my first time in Europe, I would really appreciate anyone who is willing to show me around and introduce me to the most beautiful and undiscovered corners of their cities.

I believe in two things: beauty and time.

I believe that there is beauty everywhere in this world if only we cared to look. Every city has its secrets and every mountain its whispers, and these are the things TripAdvisor won't know at all. But as a tourist, time is not on my side. And this is where I need your help, you who, as an experienced local, would have spent more time in this land than I ever would. I want to be able to see your hometown through your eyes and not just as a tourist. I want to genuinely befriend a local and say that I have truly lived your culture. I want to get to know this world just a little better, step by step, and it would be my greatest honour if you could be a part of it :-)

Food, books, poetry, film, music, art, architecture, culture, philosophy, education, nature, etc. But more importantly, I am open to talking about anything and everything under the sun and I love having a good conversation with anyone.

I wild-camped under the Old Man of Storr at Isle of Skye, Scotland one winter night and witnessed a spectacular sunrise the next morning. It was simply the most magical moment of my life, ever.
