ABOUT ME

We love to travel. I (Ivan) am an avid sailor, hockey player, musician (banjo, guitar, uke), hurler (Google Hurling), and camper. Katie is a swim coach and graphic designer who also happens to be an amazing baker, and a wonderful person.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We love the idea of seeing a community from an insiders perspective when we travel, and helping out people when they are in Milwaukee.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We are pretty new (to official couch surfing) but we have been sleeping on couches and having our couches occupied for years. Our first official couch surfing experience was amazing and it has inspired us to become an active part of this community.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I have been lucky. I have had the opportunity to sail a Formula 60 trimaran through the great lakes, live on a boat in Lake Erie for a month, and sail a traditionally rigged Brig for a spell. I have seen more shooting stars than I can count.

教，学，和分享

I have formally taught sailing, snowboarding, banjo, maritime studies including knot tying and navigation, and English literacy. I am always excited to teach anyone anything I can, and do my best to soak up all the information I can.
