About Me

I'm 33 years old living and working in Oslo. I've lived and grown up in different parts of my beautiful country (both in the north and south) and also for a while in Brazil.

I used to be married, now I'm not. I have two super kids aged 4 and 7.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I've travelled in the past what I've enjoyed the most is meeting new people and beeing introduced to or accidentally stubling onto the less "touristy" places of a city. I love making friends from around the globe and exchanging ideas on everything from favorite movies to ones life philosophy, and having my world views both challenged and renewed in those encounters.

Interests

I love to meet new people, dance, play games, stargaze, go for walks, sing, eat good food, do improv, and ride my bike.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to everything from Chopin to Deadmau5, and most anything inbetween depending on my mood and what I'm doing. I do favour things that I can move my body to.

I TV-series and movies too much, so I'm actively cutting back at the moment. But some of my favorites are: TV - Flight of the Conchords, The Office (UK) [haven't seen the US-version yet], Game of Thrones, Daredevil and Breaking Bad. Movies - The Usual Suspects, Cidade de Deus, Amélie, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, and Shawshank Redemption.

I also love books, especially listening to audiobooks while going on walks. I'm currently listening my way through the top 100 sci-fi books ever written. Other then that I enjoy reading the Bible, the Harry Potter books, The Song of Ice and Fire, the Lord of the Rings trilogy, the books about Arn (don't know their names in English), and many more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've done is help make my two kids (albeit I made a small initial contribution) :)

Other than that I would mention skydiving, looking at a mesmerizing, starlit sky on a beach in Sri Lanka, witnessing the lightning dancing at sea while biking in Denmark, among many other amazing moments.

I like to think that just the fact that our millions of cells work together and enable us to just draw breath and live is pretty amazing in and of itself :D

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my stories with you, and maybe share some new experiences and make some new stories together. I'd love to share a night of dancing or improv with you and your friends.

I'm open to teaching you anything I know/I've learned during my years here on earth.

I'd love to learn from you and hear your stories. Maybe get some tips for places to go and things/people to see?

What I Can Share with Hosts

If we make an arrangement before I leave Norway I can bring you some typical Norwegian things (like the amazingest [I know that's not really a word :P] chocolate or how about some brown cheese?).

I'd love to take you out to dinner, or maybe prepare a meal for/with you to thank you for your hospitality.
