About Me

I spent most of my 20s travelling and studying, finding my way through studying what I was interested in, developing ideas that help me with some of my goals. [Ideally...] I would likr to be able to decrease our dependence on large-scale farming and incorporate a sense of community in how society operates. Like I said, ideally...

I went back to study Engineering and it has provided me the opportunity to live in the Alps, a big dream of mine. At the same time I feel that whilst life is more comfortable now, I don't get to converse or enjoy all the things I did in my 20s, so I'm happy to be able to host people whilst I'm here and continue to be inspired in the meantime!

I've been on all sorts of trips all around the world but the most important thing for me is to learn something new each time. I believe the best things in life come out from quick and spontaneous decision-making. You will never know what is better out there if you never try it, and being hesitant only allows more time to provide more reasons to avoid it.

I've come to discover that the best kind of life is one enjoyed amongst others who spend more time on their interests rather than worrying about how much money they're earning. My strongest memories are from times spent around nature and in good company with those that also share an open mind.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've stayed with some really awesome hosts, had one uncomfortable stay, visited a few meetups, and have hosted a few people whilst living abroad. I find that my style of travelling has changed and don't often use couchsurfing as much as I used to anymore. I love to be able to host people, as I find it rewarding to be able to enjoy the company of travellers in an environment where you don't meet them too often.
