About Me

Born and raised in Honduras; currently living in Florida for college. Soon will move elsewhere for grad school.

What I love the most in life is learning. This is why I hope to continue doing research as a career and hope I can do something involving arts and sciences. I wouldn't call myself a musician but it is what I do with most of my free time and one of my biggest passions.

I'm into music, arts, nature and being outside :)
I play a couple of instruments and love all my houseplants dearly.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'll need a place to stay for a few trips coming up and I want to travel more before I start grad school. I love the sense of community in Couchsurfing and would love to become a part of it

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is one of my favorite things. I play drums, violin, guitar, bass, and keys and probably anything with strings. Some of my favorite musicians or bands are Stereolab, CAN, Thelonious Monk, Debussy, Brian Eno, Talking Heads, Animal Collective, Candy Claws....

My favorite book of all time might be Don Quijote. I also like Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Nikolai Gogol, and Mikhail Bulgakov.

I'm a sucker for cult classics; there is always something lovable about them. Some movies I have watched recently/liked are Rocky, Godzilla, Blair Witch Project, Hereditary, The Princess Bride, and Halloween.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Saw a bear once in Georgia :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning about anything! I would love to learn more about languages, arts, and traveling.

I can teach you some Honduran slang and maybe some music. If for some reason you're interested in my research we could talk all night about music, emotions, signal processing and whatnot :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can make a great salmon :^)
