Hey! My name is Katya, I am Russian and I am in the middle of the greatest adventure of my life - 9-month in the USA under Fulbright scholarship! Fulbright's mission is building bridges between countries via first-hand intercultural experience. As a grantee, I act as both a student and a teacher of my language at Boston University and also as a cultural ambassador.
As for me as a human being, I am very open (even though might seem a bit self-contained), love a good laugh and new experiences. LOVE animals, so if you have a cat or a dog or something, beware that I will probably be all over it.

While I am in the USA I am planning to have a big journey around the country in winter. As I am here to share my culture and learn about American one and others, I think the best way to do it is to travel to differnet places and meet different people!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Star Trek TOS fan forever! Also love loads of other shows, like Lucifer, Game of Thrones, Doctor Who, Brooklyn 99, Gravity Falls, etc. Just ask me, I might have watched it!
Love (or at least can tolerate) different music, from Despacito to Tschaikovsky.
As for the books, my forever favs are The Witcher series and Good Omens. I am also a huge fan of Stephen Fry.

I applied for Filbright scholarship more than a year ago and got it! That's how I found myself in Boston.
