take over the world one couch at a time
After working for 2 years at a high school in the US, I taught in Thailand in Japan for nearly 4 years. I loved the work, the students and the vacation time, but decided to move away from teaching. Recently I finished my MS in water and environmental management and now have the honor and pleasure of traveling about connecting pipes and digging latrines. This will keep me moving and working all over for a few years to come. I'm enjoying myself thoroughly.I guess I have hope about many of the big problems, though I'm not without a bit of cynicism and a lot of skepticism. I'm humorful, interested, detached, cozy, warm, have cold hands, drinking beer... Some say that I have a sarcasm problem; I should work on this but in the mean time bear with me and understand that I'm probably joking.
we don't have long so lets just enjoy ourselves
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Had a great bunch of people come through my tiny room in Tokyo, met some people in Germany 06(!), and have had a few people come by our school here in Mae Hong Son. I met a great family in Loughborough that took me in for a bit and we're still in touch. I've also gotten to meet some couchsurfers for meals and drinks as I've traveled or they've visited. I like that you can just reach out to people on CS to go to a concert, have a drink, ask for local information or whatever strikes. Great community.
really awesome so far, I'm always excited to meet more cool friends that I didn't even know that I already had!
talking, friends, laughing, music, Chicago Cubs baseball, Liverpool Football Club, enjoy a few drinks (related to talking, friends, and laughing), ...
