ABOUT ME

Okayyy..the tricky fact dropping exercice, let's try .. : I m french-german (and completely fluent in english too). Born in Paris, and living in Berlin since over 10years. Besides my own artistic practice, I ve been working in the art & film, music fields for a while (organising festivals and events in berlin)- currently, i'm working (coaching, writing, doing voice over) for a friend's film, and the next thing would be working on the realisation of a contemporary dance research and mentoring program. What elseeee...... Corsica and Bretagne are my favorite places on earth ! (althought i haven t seen much of earth yet, but i feel like home there). Like to spend mellow time, but can jump on occasions for unexpected adventures. Love cats (i speak cat too by the way). Oh, and if someone could introduce me to some dolphins, contact me - i mean it !

PHILOSOPHY

..concerning this place and its purpose , i d say :

anything could become interesting, if experienced through people.
-> I m open to share someone elses passion if they invite me to jump for a while on their boat..

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

(that s from 2011)...several in spontanious ways before i was aware of this site... and my first ones this summer in Corsica..some of them were real fun...
As for now, I'm open for a drink and a chat with truly curious berlin visitors..

For now, 2013, I m planing on spending a week around La Rochelle.. Looking forward to meet some people there..!

Animal behaviour (the octopuss fascinates me..), contemporary dance, strange, sad or happy stories people can tell about encounters and experiences, neuro-psychology, languages and their idioms, watching snails..

(i really don't give a rats ass about trends, discussions about cigarette brands, or be polemical about currently mediatized topics, and i m kind of proudly resisting on joining the facebook sect.. ;)

music, a lot : ranging from folk, pop, a lot of post punk, to hip hop via traditional african or asian music via jazz and experimental, americana to baroque chamber music and eletronic or film music..
Or, to do a little name dropping, currently listening to : Mingus plays piano, Apocalypse by Bill Callahan, Timber Timbre (!), Gill Scott Heron, Bach suites by A Bylsmer or P Casals, Chinawoman, Scott Walker, Lcd soundsystem, Clap you hands and say.., Hot Chip, Moondog, Kate Bush, Jose Gonzales, Josef K, Bashung, Ravi Shankar and Phillip Glass, Jandek, John Barry and and and...

Film : from tv shows such as Six feet under to futurama, breaking bad or Cougar Town (very silly but very funny), to Haneke, Bergmann, Lars v Trier, Cassavettes (!!!) and so on..

Books : just finished la carte et le territoire de Houellebecq, starting a small G. Bataille, or maybe switching to a small Proust for the summer..we'll see . Bill Callahan's "Letters to Emma Bowlcut" is worth reading..for those who love his music anyway, as i do...
[ok, that s from 2011..I never finished the bataille, didnt start Proust again, but reading 2 books at the same time Ian Mc Ewan and Frantzen's Freedom.]
