ABOUT ME

I was a Fine Art (painting) and 3D Computer Graphics major in College... somehow I ended up making drugs (legal ones!) and working in Film. I still do Art when I can and I have lots of other hobbies... my life never seems to be boring. I love meeting new people, seeing new places, trying new things, and being silly.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in being open-minded and optimistic in life. I love to make people laugh and smile... it is what truly makes me happy. As for Philosophy, I think the Dali Lama said it best when he said:

"If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion."

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I offer a comfortable futon for travelers and will try my best to give tips or be a tour guide to the area when I can. I grew up in New Mexico and love showing people around.

I'd love to do more traveling and do some couch surfing myself too :)

I've done Sky-diving and Rock Climbing in the past... and someday: Scuba Diving, Surfing, and flying ultra-light aircrafts. They're all on my to-do list :)

I also work as a "background actor" as a hobby ...because of my love of film. Here are some of the Films I've worked on: 3:10 to Yuma, Sunshine Cleaning, Brothers, Observe and Report, Terminator 4, Spy Next Door, Crazy Heart, and 'Friendship'.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've had the privilege of going skydiving a few times in my life... it was pretty amazing!

Some of my experiences on Hollywood film sets have been pretty amazing too. For example, getting to meet and talk Jackie Chan on the set of "Spy Next Door" and making it into the final cut of the film is amazing to me because he was one of my childhood idols.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've been doing Tai Chi for a while now and wouldn't mind teaching someone the basics and philosophy of this peaceful Martial Art.
