About Me

CURRENT MISSION

promoting the tango style on planet earth

ABOUT ME

addicted to creativity, inspiration, addicted to the world in its beautyI think these two lines describe most of my personality. To do it more traditionally, let's say that I am Andreas studying Human Resources in Birmingham and enjoying life in its entirety. For me that means doing what inspires me and gives me new ideas, learning new perspectives. The things that define me most are nature, creativity and tango. It is a combination that has served me quite well. Nature is an important part of my life. I really enjoy exploring landscapes either by hiking, kayaking or canyoning (I like adventures). It's the hidden, persoanl spots that I am looking for. To describe my passion for tango it would take a while believe me. But if you want to know me, just stay at my place and have a coffee with me.

PHILOSOPHY

Every passing minute is another chance to turn it all around.

I am into eastern philosophy such as Buddhism. It has brought a lot of freedom an happiness into my life. I am fascinated with the interaction between the Ego and the true Self. Eckhart Tolle is one my favourite writers in this regard.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host people everytime I am not busy with annoying exams and have had only positive experiences so far. Also, I really enjoy to meet up with couchsurfers in Munich and in any city I am travelling through. So, I never feel alone ;-).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I was travelling by interrail through Western Europe, I was hosted with my travel companion by a great girl in Marseille.
She had the great idea to take us to a Salsa party. It was amazing. Actually, I just went there to see Salsa for my self but it turned out to have an introduction for beginners as well. So she dragged me to this lesson and I had no choice but to start moving my hips, body and jump around like crazy - like all the other people did. As a tango dancer I really felt like an alien on the different planet. It was just awesome. Thanks again ;-).

love

Teach, Learn, Share

I am always glad to share my skills with everyone who is willing to learn ;-). So if you like to learn more about languages, writing, tango dancing, let me know.
Of course, I am quite eager to learn from everyone else, as well. Also, I am currently looking for someone dealing with video compositing and all the stuff associated. I am a patient teacher and student, (so they say).
