I am the financial reporting manager of a company from energy sector (and a former professor of Finance and Accounting at a business school). In my free time, I learn foreign languages (I speak between 7 and 12, depending on how strict you are). Most of my other dreams have to do with travelling. The most exotic destination I'm attracted by is probably the island of Tristan da Cunha in the middle of Atlantic Ocean (half way from South Africa to Uruguay); its administrative centre, Edinburgh of the Seven Seas is 2,173 kilometres away from the nearest human settlement, which makes it the most remote permanent settlement on Earth.

I enjoy how similar we (human beings) are, despite the differences between our cultures. Couchsurfing is one more amazing proof that virtue has no nationality, race or religion.

FOOTBALL
I am a fan of Italian national team and AC Milan since 1994 . Also, I play football with my friends / colleagues at least twice a week (you're welcome to join us if you'd like to).

My playlist hasn't changed much over the latest 10+ years. I keep listening to the same songs (which is sometimes annoying, as you might guess) but add new ones mainly when I learn a new language and discover a singer/band performing in it. Negramaro (Italy), Moda' (Italy), Tose Proeski (Macedonia), Ana Carolina (Brazil) are among such kind of 'exotic' favourites of mine.
