我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I began Couchsurfing in April 2016, because I was interested in minimalist travel, and the thought of free accommodation was nice. But I think now, even if I ever ”have money”, I'd still prefer to Couchsurf. I had so many wonderful experiences that only happened because of Couchsurfing.

Now that I'm back in the states, I enjoy returning the favor by hosting people. I enjoy talking with couch surfers, because I feel that every person is a universe and it is my goal to explore as many universes as possible in what little time I have.

I'm also very interested in taking all of the best and worst aspects of my Couchsurfing experiences and working towards being a very good host.

I live with my boyfriend, Joey. We are both open, creative, and loving individuals.

I backpacked through Europe Couchsurfing, and I understand how important it is to have freedom. We have a set of keys for our guests, and there aren't really any rules. We do enjoy conversing and hanging out, but we are busy sometimes too. We hope to make our guests feel comfortable enough to tell us what they want and need. If we don't mention the wifi password right away, just ask!

I believe in giving freely and generously, because that is the only way that we can combat the societal pressures selfishly geared towards attaining wealth and power.

All that we ask if we allow you to stay in our home is to respect and love all beings.

generally: magical realism, biography, creative essay, philosophy, poetry. especially anything that manages to weave one or more together. also love wikipedia.
in film and tv, anything that pays close attention to writing, has complex female characters, surprises. engaging documentaries, experimental film.
but the most important thing about watching something, to me, is who I'm watching it with.

My partner Joey and I are both artists living in Indianapolis for the time being. I am primarily a poet, but also paint, dance and play bass. Joey is a professional musician and phenomenal cook. We spend most of our time talking about ideas and have many theories to share as well as entertainment recommendations. We enjoy cooking, cleaning, going for long walks, fitness, and just about anything. We focus on finding joy and interest in all things and work towards always being present.
