ABOUT ME

I love big cities but always escape to small towns. I can't get enough of the outdoors but can appreciate a good night in. I'm an avid reader, but also an avid Degrassi (old-generation) watcher. I love trying and learning new things and am always looking for a way to accomplish this.

PHILOSOPHY

I live to live. Compared to the alternative it seems like a really good option. So, why waste it?

I hope to participate by experiencing traveling with a stronger connection to the community I visit then staying at their hotels or eating at their restaurants.

I am interested in anything that is presented to me by someone who is really passionate about it. I will talk to you about lawn furniture from the 1970's if that's what you're into.

Most recently I've been really into Joseph Boyden's books; a little Canadiana, a little drama, but all good. I also loved Farley Mowat's 'the boat that wouldn't float' because it made me laugh out loud. But I would have to say the author I always go back to is John Irving; 'a prayer for Owen Meany' will always be in my top 3.

I saw the great wall of China. It was amazing and almost unfathomable. Although I know billions of others have seen it as well, I'm the only one to have seen it through my eyes, and it looked pretty cool to me.
