ABOUT ME

I have moved to Courtenay from Victoria and started a business as a permaculture design consultant and teacher: Vancouver Island Permaculture. My mission is to help people develop sustainable living systems in their homes and gardens; to promote strategies for becoming more self reliant in providing for their physical needs; and to build up the social networks and skills needed to insure security and stability in a rapidly changing world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to CS so I haven't been involved. Once I am home I am going to have a permaculture demonstration spot on Vancouver Island that I will be happy to offer to any interested couch surfers.

Interests

I am interested in people, food, cooking, herbs, natural healing, gardens, beaches, walks, books, crafts and textiles, habitat, environmental design, bio-remediation and land restoration.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am very knowledgeable about holistic nutrition and medicinal herbs. I am also a permaculture designer and teacher. I am interested in life-long learning, thoughtful conversation and any recommendations on a good book to read.
