Hello! We are Elan & Ayoub and we are doing a trip around southeast asia to explore, get immersed in cultures, meet lovely people, and make good memories before we go home and part ways.

We loooove to explore new places but also chill around and relax. We are pretty curious about the history and culture of the countries we visit so it would be perfect to get to know more from personal insights instead of asking ChatGPT all the time.

We met when Ayoub [22, Belgium] was doing an exchange semester in the university Elan [19, Philippines] studies in. We have been travelling here and there throughout the past few months until doing our month long trip covering Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam before Ayoub returns to Belgium and Elan continues her studies in the Philippines. So we look forward to having amazing experiences with each other and the people we meet while couchsurfing <3

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We met a friend in our hostel in Laos who told us about the great experiences he encountered with couchsurfing and we thought it would be a good idea to have a different perspective while travelling, have a more interactive experience with locals/residents, and make crazy cool memories.
