Hi there! I'm Elani a 22 year old Malaysian girl, currently studying law at the University of Warwick. I'm new here on CS, very excited to see the world as a couchsurfer!!

I have a passion of traveling the world and meeting the people of different countries. Generally a very inquisitive person who is eager to learn as much as I can so I might ask one too many questions about your culture haha just tell me to stop if you think it's too much! I loveee meeting new people and hearing their life stories, sharing experiences is the best way to learn IMO :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet locals and learn about the places I visit and its culture on a deeper personal level. I'm giving CS a try since it allows me to do that. Traveling as a tourist is really not my cup of tea! I feel like i'm missing a significant chunk of the learning experience from traveling when i learn about the place i'm visiting solely from the internet and information boards. I love making new friends in the places I visit, it just adds depth to the whole travel experience.

I hope to host people too when I get a chance to, one day. The CS community are a great bunch of people :)
