I have been out of couchsurfing for years. We recently travelled to Iceland a met a hitchhiker. This was the reason why I’m back here, host and meet people when we can. We are a gay couple who loves travelling. If there is one thing that keeps us sane, it would be travelling. It makes me discover things I could never have learned from any books or articles. I enjoy discovering new places, mixing with the locals and finding out their opinions, learning the local slang and just generally immersing myself in the culture as much as I can, is when I really learn about the world.

Friends call us JP and Don. We sort of lived everywhere and currently in Longueuil, Quebec, a few train stops from Montréal.

I met some of the coolest travellers around the world. I have had some meet-ups that did not live up to my expectations but the goods definitely outweigh the bads. Most of them were really nice and I feel that being active here is a good way to give back to people who have made my previous trips one for the books.

I listen to almost all genre of music, the likes of John Mayer, Frank Sinatra and Norah Jones. I don’t like the ones that would make my eardrums bleed. As for movies, I like Shawshank Redemption and romantic comedy movies.

I can share you my list of what to do and where to eat in Montreal. I enjoy spontaneous road trips around the city or even out of town if and when my schedule allows me to do so. Just be open to exploring stuff out of your comfort zones.
