I'm a jeweller and crafter, with a love of sci-fi, tea and travelling. I work mainly from home at the moment, in a small workshop just off my living room. I have been with my partner Brett for five years. We met speed dating and it took off from there.

We are easy going, creative folks who love meeting new people and sharing stories. We have two pet rats, Cinnamon and Nutmeg, who live in a cage in the living room.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I'm here to meet new people, find interesting places to stay and show people around Dundee. After spending a good portion of my teenage years couch-surfing to have a place to stay, I now try and have a flat with a spare room or two whenever possible. I want to be able to pay back the kindness others shared with me, of a warm bed, a safe space and a cup of tea in the morning.

Interessen

I spent a couple of years learning historical fencing, with longsword and broadsword. I've not been as active in the scene lately, and I miss it, but there are only so many hours in the day.

I'm currently making my way into the Dundee burlesque scene and it's so much fun! Glitter and costumes and makeup, Oh My!

I graduated in Jewellery and Metalwork and recently started up my own Etsy page online selling handmade silver jewellery.

I gym when I can, do yoga when I remember and lift weights when my body allows.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

The Hunger Games, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Lords, Halsey, Jane Austen, The Little Prince, Sappho, George R R Martin, Rumi, Harry Potter, Skyrim, Joanne Harris, Sarah Waters... I'll read almost anything. I binge-watch a lot of shows while crafting to pass the time on tedious jewellery jobs. Tell me Game of Thrones trivia and you have a friend for life.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I overcame a life-long fear of open water to go swimming in the North Sea. It was freezing but beautiful! I would absolutely do it again.
