Helloooooo!!

I am a French/English 1st year medical student studying in Groningen for the next 6 years. However I grew up in Brussels and therefore in a very international environment. During my time in the Netherlands I look forward to discovering as many places nearby as possible! I love to travel, get sucked in to a good book, cook, play board games, discover little cafés and restaurants, try things outside my comfort zone... I love the outdoors and I practise running, mounaineering, skiing, hiking, diving etc I also love to dance (ballet and contemporary), play music, sing (very badly but I still love it!), deep conversations about anything and everything

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

What I look for when travelling is going beyond the famous tourist attractions but really experiencing the life of the locals, going out, eating out, meeting new people and embracing a different culture. The CS concept is therefore perfect for what I'm looking for!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

With my family we walked from Switzerland to the Mediterranean along the GR5 trail in France. It took us several weeks and my little sister was 4 years old at the time so it was quite an experience! We walked through impressive storms where everyone would be running panicked to reach a hut for shelter. Meanwhile my friend and I were singing the Sound of Music soundtrack, if that tells you anything about me.
