I live near the River Thames, between Tower Bridge and Greenwich with my husband and secondary school age daughter. We are well travelled and love our neighbourhood. I organise a series of world music concerts called Tuned In London.

I am well practiced at managing to do things despite a tight budget. I know that this can be a great way to find accommodation and get to things without them needing to cost the earth. My activity organising concerts is a great labour of love: I love bringing the world to me and my community but it is not a great money spinner!

I love reading in French and Spanish as well as English. I find it impossible to say which is my favourite music but at the moment we have Cameroonian Blick Bassy on loop. Ask me about a chart-topper and I probably don't know who or what you're talking about. I used to know quite a bit about films, and worked in a film festival, but not these days!

We have a sofabed in the living room/kitchen with a particularly good view. We have two bathrooms, one of which you would be sharing with our daughter. We are sometimes/often on the slightly untidy side but hopefully the warmth of the welcome will mean that doesn't matter too much!
