I'm always trying to expand my horizons--this summer, by travel.

I love my work, which unfortunately means it sometimes sneaks up and takes over life.

PHILOSOPHY

The rapper Nas says it best: "I never sleep, cuz sleep is the cousin of death." There's just too much awesome stuff to do to waste life dreaming.

Hoping to do some surfing this summer in various parts of Europe.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books--I'm not much of a reader, but my favorite is "One flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest"

I love movies that question ontology (the realness of our perceptions)--Inception, the Matrix, Shutter Island, etc.

TV--Entourage is the best show ever created.

Music--Mostly hip-hop: Dr. Dre, Eminem, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Public Enemy (sometimes), Jay-Z, Kanye (sometimes), and the list continues. I enjoy finding new music to listen to.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teaching: Eating spicy food (yes, this is a teachable skill), Artificial Intelligence

Learning: Everything--As a graduate student, it's what I do.
