About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Expand my (rather limited) views! Reading books and traveling locally can only get you so far.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just started! Can't wait to surf on my first couches this summer and then host when I get my own place

Interests

Rock, Trees, and Computers

the big three right now are Spelunking, Rock Climbing and just Trees/Forests in general

My nerdier side also enjoys hacking on open-source projects and low level programming.

Music, Movies, and Books

As for fiction, I love Sci-Fi.
But I also read quite a bit of nonfiction related to my interests (Climbing, Trees, Adventure, and Computer Science)

Sucker for epic movies and series such as Firefly & Serenity, Lord of the Rings, and Doctor Who

As for music I typically enjoy upbeat and all around happy music, especially instrumental. Also a big fan of movie soundtracks (such as Lord of the Rings).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A group of friends backpacked into the Grand Canyon to visit Havasupai Falls. After a few (wonderful) days we were awoken late at night to find the river knocking at our tent flap. A dam had broken upstream and a massive flood was raging toward our section of the canyon. A few exciting escape hours later found us being evacuated via helecopter out of the canyon. Great fun :D

Teach, Learn, Share

Spelunking! I always enjoy taking new people spelunking, I even started a club at my University. If you've never been its a great experience!

Climbing. Still a novice to an experienced climber so I would love to learn more or teach what I know (which is enough to climb/rappel safely without worry ;)

Computer Science. As much as I would like it to be something more exciting, my true passion lies in programming.

Countries I’ve Visited

Spain, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
