ABOUT ME

I love eating. A LOT.

And I love going out for morning runs with my mum, reading a good book, and drinking hot chocolate. Kinda grandma-ish, I know. What can I say, I enjoy the simple pleasures in life.

I can make decent sketches, I love singing, playing the guitar, and dancing (though I suck at these things). Currently learning Brazilian Portuguese and Peruvian Spanish from my World Youth Day Friends and loving it.

I'm addicted to writing stories in my head, and I hope in the near future, I'll be living the life I've always wanted.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To learn and meet new friends! Unfortunately, I will not be able to host visitors as I am renting out in a small apartment, but fingers crossed, I will be purchasing my first property and welcoming guests! At the mean time, I will be more than happy to hang out if I'm available. 😊

Interests

I love eating and sampling the local foods, but I shy away from insects and suspicious-looking concoctions (due to bad experiences that involved street vendors' food and a trip to the hospital in Manila, Philippines).

I also love going for jogs and soaking in beautiful sceneries. Meh, I'm pretty low maintenance, and still new to the CS experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Prayed at Cristo Redentor in Rio de Janeiro at a cold winter night after waiting for 8 hours. It was life-changing.

Went to Oryundae Shrine and learned about the Korean Martyrs, and how they basically paved way to the fight for religious freedom in SK.

Befriended a tuk tuk driver and went around the slums in Phnom Penh. Always get out of your comfort zone and reach out to people, and you will be rewarded with their kindness and love.

A school of fish swimming around me during a snorkeling trip in Krabi. Just out of this world.

Befriended a stranger in Kyoto and ended up going around Shinsaibashi, Osaka giving food to the poor during the rain with her. It was amazing to see that others were inspired by it as well. :') One act of random kindness at a time. ^^
