Hi, I am a student of Media and Cultural Studies in Dusseldorf, Germany. I was based in Cologne for the last 1,5 years, but now I'm reaching out for new adventures in California!
I'll be living here until Christmas 2015, studying at UC Davis :)

Since I am living with another girl in one room, hosting in my apartment is not possible. But back home in Cologne, Germany, I'd love to be a host!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I came to the US not only for stuying, but for the expierience as well. So I'm looking forward to meet a bunch of new people and see new cities, I never been to before!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite musicians are calm, like the German band BOY, my all-time-favourite The Paper Kites or the gorgeous William Fitzsimmons. But if I want to dance, almost everything works for me :)

I love movies and books, which leave me happy and thoughtful at the same time after I finish them. You'll find me watching 500 days of summer, Garden State, Amélie or reading books like Hunting and Gathering.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

With a friend of mine, I invented a wrapping paper for advent calenders, which is a mostly German tradition I guess. I always loved giving presents and I wanted this idea to get reality. So I just did it.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you want to, I can always teach you some German :D But I really want to improve my Englisch speaking skills while being here, so we are probably more spaaking English.

I really like to share my meals and recipes. I also recommend to do Pilates to everyone, but since I am not a pro, you better leanr that from someone else. ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love cooking and if you are interested, we can cook together or I just create a meal for you! It could be anything from tradional German food to Thai inspired, but mostly vegetarian, since this is how I eat.
