I'm an optimistic, positive and communicative person, teaching English in a picturesque suburb of Saint Petersburg, the most popular destination for summer and winter activities, living with my son. Traveling is my life, my passion. Nowadays we can't travel as much as I would like to, so at least I'd like to meet new people and listen to interesting stories, just to talk and maybe practice languages (but that's not the target). I just love interesting people, crazy about learning other countries and cultures, eager to find new friends. I'm not a party person, but I can show you our town around, maybe the city (if I have enough time) with great pleasure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We live in a very nice place between Saint Petersburg and Vyborg, we have a big sofa in the living room and too little guests. I love travelling, but cant travel too much now. And I love guests) I love couchsurfing idea cause I think it's genius! Meet new people and share cultures, communicate and help each other, find friends all over the world... That's great. Why it's not me who started this project!)))

Music, Movies, and Books

Classical rock music, jazz, country. Black and white movies, musicals, just good films, European movies. Too many favourite books... to mention some - recently letters of artists and writers, travel notes, I love Bill Bryson whom I translated into Russian.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Nothing amazing, just ordinary things) But our life consists of ordinary things that make it extraordinary... Well, let it be my solo trip to Portugal, my start-up... and my son is my treasure)
