Hey Couchsurfers! Thanks for looking up my profile. So I am a German postgrad student currently finishing my Masters at the University of Edinburgh. For many years I have been traveling to different countries (student budget though). My absolute favourite place on earth are the Iguazú falls in Argentina/ Brazil. However, I would never dare to decline another offer to have an Argentinian steak, dance Cuban salsa, eat Peruvian Ceviche or explore the many exotic dishes on a Cambodian or Thai market. Well, I admit I love good food and drinks, but its more a means to an end. I love socializing, experiencing different cultures, learning about other points of view, etc.
I was raised to be a good kid so I hope my parents did a good job with that. For myself I like to keep things tidy and I am very open-minded, reliable and independent.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I did couchsurfing for years without using this website in particular. I stayed with 'strangers' who became great friends afterwards in many countries, e.g. the Netherlands, Argentina, Peru, Bolivia, Thailand, Cambodia, Cuba, Canada, Poland, Switzerland, etc.

I am currently based in Scotland so I warmly invite you to check out this beautiful country. Even though it is rainy it is definitely worth a journey!
