I am currently primarily working as a working student in a software-startup in Berlin, called TolaData - a project management and M&E tool for NGOs to better organise their humanitarian work. And theoretically I am attending an orientation course at the Free University in Berlin, where in the first semester I attended courses in Psychology, Art History and Film Science.
I love beach volleyball - watching and playing, swimming, cycling, going for walks, watching movies, going to cultural events etc.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It would be lovely to experience a new country not through the whole of a camera, constantly taking pictures or through the window of a hotel. I want to be near the culture, get some insider views, but how in that possible if not by sharing some days with people who live it day by day?
- music festivals
- scuba diving
- reading french litterature
- reading english litterature
Music, Movies, and Books
Lately I'm totally into:

The English patient
Harry Potter (sorry but that has to be!!)
Never let me go by Kazuo Ishiguro
Pride and prejudice by Jane Austen
To kill a mockingbird by Harper Lee
Le dernier jour d'un condamné by Victor Hugo
Lettres à Léonie by Victor Hugo
Au bonheur des dammes by Émile Zola
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well it might sound silly but I try enjoying other people's happiness. For instance not so long ago, there was a little girl on her way back home that suddenly sighted. So totally scared I looked in her direction, but only to observe her big eyes, excited about the fact that she detected a puddle in front of her, in which she instantly jumped into. And that kind of made me happy, seeing people enjoy the little things in life, that mature people tend to ignore.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a swimming instructor for little children, I do that for more that a year now and it's making me really happy.
Otherwise I meet in my school, every Monday, young refugees who need some support in learning German, or doing their homework, or who simply want to spend some time with us. ( by now we got to know each other pretty well)
Beside that I babysit children, that's how for at least four years I've constantly been taking care of four boys ( who by now are quite old, compared to the beginning), but also at least of two other families.
