Hello, we are Raf and Elen from St Petersburg, Russia!
We like to travel, meet new people and exchange cultural knowledge and other experience. We love animals and nature very much. I'm Elen I graduated from the University of Culture and Art and my majour is museum studies. Which is why I am interested in art, history, culture, customs and traditions of all over the world. I have experience working with children and worked at the museums too. As for my hobbies, I am fond of reading, cooking, doing sports, studying( it doesn’t matter what to study, I just like to learn something new and share my experience too). I'm Raf, I worked as an economist-accountant and waiter. I like hiking, swimming, reading and playing football.
Our couple is kind, friendly, communicative, very tolerant and polite. We are active, non-smoking, non-drinking, non-partiers, and love doing sport.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are looking for local citizens in different countries to know more about their authentic culture and traditions of there region.
We are happy to meet new people and share with each other different stories. We love our culture and respect others. We would like to tell about our big country and cook some Russian traditional diches :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We had stayed for 2 weeks near Buddist Temple in Thailand and every morning we helped at that temple. We carried big bags of donations and helped at the kitchen. We could speak with monks and nuns at the same time. That was a great experience!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have been dancing for a long time and studying history and culture. So I would be happy to share this. Rafael has a huge experience working as an accountent.
We also sometimes run English classes and teach as Russian as English.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would like to make international friends from all over the world and once to invite and gether them to my lovely country to make a super intercultural party! And of course to show my beautiful city which is rich of culture :)
