My name is Elena, I grew up in Toronto but my family is originally from Latvia so I speak Russian fluently and travel back there often. I am currently studying Environmental Biology at McGill University because I am passionate about the environment, and I am hoping to enter a career in conservation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did an internship at a wildlife rehabilitation, and it was the most amazing experience of my life. I raised and cared for a variety of animals native to Ontario, Canada, including raccoons, foxes, ravens, and falcons. It was a lot of hard work, but it all paid off and was an amazing way to spend my summer.
