it's always interesting to get to know strangers. with some you are enjoying the moment, you feel life, you open your mind. with others you may stay in contact, start friendships, write postcards.
But one of the most important things for us - human beeings - is empathy.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am travelling around Rumania the next weeks. I don't have a big big travel budget so i would appreciate if you could host me. But this isn't the only reason why i use CS: i am travelling alone and i wanna learn about the country and the culture (cooking, language, music, lifestyle, politics, ..) I am not a very complicated traveller and i am also fine to spend most of the time alone if you have to work or some plans. But i would love to spend the evenig with you with some wine or beer and cooking :))
And of course, you are always welcome to visit me in Vienna, Austria, if you want to :)

collecting things like stones, feathers, snailshells, whatever attrackts my interest. language diversity and dialects, local foodhabits and dishes, fermented stuff, beeing alone (yes, i really enjoy that), chilling with friends and a bottle of wine, petting every animal i see, laughing, walking around in a city without any plan.

Yes. I don't like tourists. This is why I cannot be a city tour guide. I can take you to some really nice place in the nature. i am not the best cook (and austrian) but i will try my best to do some austrian dishes (Italien ones i still have to learn myself). i would also appreciate to learn some dish of your home country. I enjoy speaking about differences in an open way and i would love to learn some words in a new language. You have to know that i also enjoy my privacy so please be able to discover the region also by your own.
