COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The story about not taken place travel.
Recently, when the son has grown also household problems basically are solved at me there was a possibility to look at the world. The friend, skilled cauchserfing, has advised me this way of travel - after all it so fine, to learn the world not only "outside", but also "from within", communicating with people. And here I have dared and as the first purpose have chosen Belgium. Why Belgium? Probably because never there was, but since the childhood very much I love Flemish painting. Remarkable woman Mireze from the magic city of Leuvena has responded to my letter Two months we corresponded, two months I lived dreams of this trip, studied history of Belgium, tried to remember English which for a long time has forgotten.

And here, at last on March, 29th in five mornings of village in a minibus to Lapperanty. Why to Lapperanty? Yes because from Piter - of a five-million city! There are no direct flights to Bruxelles. And the main thing on the Russian market don't start up discounters and to fly through Finland many times more cheaply!
And since this minute the period of failures has begun. The minibus traveled about two hours around the city, collecting other passengers. Then still half an hour in a stopper on departure from a city. Then on bad after a road snowfall slowly crept to border. On an entrance to customs when I have seen the turn stretched on kilometers, I have understood that I am late. But has decided to make nevertheless attempt - on foot has passed to the barrier and has thrust in that car which stood the first. With them has quickly passed our customs, and here on Finnish again hasn't carried. The Finnish frontier guards didn't like that car which took place examination before us. They half an hour searched it with dogs, and this half an hour has solved all. When I at last have passed border, till the end of registration there were 5 minutes. It was necessary to reach to the nearest shop, to buy there usual Finnish souvenirs and to come back. It was necessary to come back in the old way - forgotten from student's times a self-locking device. Long it was not necessary to wait, the elderly driver has taken me to Vyborg, and there by the bus has reached and Piter.
In general though this trip isn't has gone right, but nevertheless as at us speak, every cloud has a silver lining. I was once again convinced as a lot of kind, ready to come to the aid people.
I want to apologize once again before Mireze, I have very much brought it.
And still - perhaps this failure has saved me from any big trouble?
One I know precisely - I necessarily I will arrive to Belgium, with cauchserfing or not, but it is obligatory. Perhaps in the beginning of June when vacation will begin. Also I will necessarily see the Gent altar and a museum of Memling. Because I feel - to surrender it is impossible, if there is a purpose, there is a dream - it is necessary to struggle for it!
