About Me

Hey all! I'll be out of Rome until the second week of January. After that, you'll be welcome again!

CURRENT MISSION

Peace in the world and if that doesn't work, a good cup of coffee will do

ABOUT ME

What sort of question is this??
Ok, I'll try....and this is a sign of real commitment to CS!

I'm half Italian and half German. I grew up in Pisa so I feel more Italian but it really depends on the topic :-) I really love Tuscany but something keeps pulling me towards other places, so I changed country almost every year since I started university. Also, I studied international development and that doesn't really help staying in one place.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Friends from all over the world have been crashing my couch for as long as I remember and now I am ready to receive some more trough CS.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed only 2 couches so far, in Berlin, and we made the local newspaper in an article about CS! Still waiting eagerly for the first guest :-)

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: le concert, la casa di sabbia e nebbia (dunno the English name), Das Leben der Anderen, il postino

Books: Les Miserables, Madame Ba, The house of the spirits

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living in Damascus for half a year was amazing. They're way ahead of us in terms of hospitality without wanting something in return. Well, except for the CS community of course ;-)

Teach, Learn, Share

I make a mean risotto, and am good at making up absurd fairytale-like stories on the fly. I'd love to learn how to repair bikes.

I speak a bit of arabic, which cost me more effort than learning all the other languages combined and I keep forgetting words so if anybody knows it well and wants to practice that would be great!
