I am bubbly and friendly and always open to new things and new people. I am always up for a laugh, and don't take myself too seriously.

PHILOSOPHY

Do right by people and animals, get amongst it, and vounteer what you can when you can (it's good for the soul! One of my favourite jobs was volunteering with Camp Quality to give 'laughter therapy' to kids affected by cancer)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Am about to travel to the USA with my new husband (Linden Whittle) and would love some local experience and perspective (and a couch?)
[PLAN SO FAR: 1-9 Aug in LA, 9-16 Aug in San Fran, 16-30 Aug NYC, 30 Aug-4 Sept in Boston]
Love 'a good yarn' (Aussie slang for conversation), and we are happy to be as involved or as invisible as our host would like (I make a mean vegan chocolate cupcake!)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far unfortunately, but it seems to suit our personalities and what we want to get out of travel, which is to meet great people!

兴趣

I love movies/TV/books, travel and being creative. My long term goal is to write a novel or make a career out of making stuff with my hands (vegan baked goods or jewellery or pottery. I love sport and dancing but am terrible at them - I have played touch football, soccer (colleagate), squash, dodgeball and netball; and have taken classes in ballroom dancing, salsa, swing, funk, bollywood dancing and ceroc.

English Lit major - love the written word. Also love anything on film/TV except scary horror because I'm a big baby when it comes to that stuff!

Best travel moments - Sunset over Santorini, hiking to and swimming in a waterfall in Koh Samui (see profile pic), and seeing Santa and the midnight sun in Rovaniemi in the Arctic Circle.
