Hi! I'm Eleonora, but you can call me Elly. Born and raised in Switzerland, I am actually Italian, so I moved there to start my anthropolgy studies at the university in the beautiful city of Bologna.
I always loved to travel, and since I was 15 I tried to earn enough money to travel on my own or with my best friend at least once a year in a place never seen before. At the beginning it was hard, also because my parents had doubts, but when I turned 18 they bought me a wonderful ticket for Japan, and that started everything!
I've been to California (my best friend lives there), Japan, I spent one semester in China studying the language and I travelled a bit around Europe! The last thing I did was an amazing trip with my mom in New York City for my 20th and her 50th birthday! I would love to meet someone from another place, and if it's possible I will answer your messages, and host you, even though I am not always available.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I love to travel, and meet new people, and probably this is the easiest way to have the best experiences on both sides! At the moment I cannot host, and I am sorry about it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music, every kinf of music! I went to Tomorrowland 2017 after being at Nocutrnal Wonderland 2016 in San Bernardino California, but I cannot deny I am in love with the 70's and 80's music. My father used to be a DJ, and he still is a music lover and expert, so he introduced me to the wonderful dance music, to my loved and missed David Bowie, Earth Wind and Fire, Giorgio Moroder, and so on.
My favourite movie ever is probably the first movie of the Star Wars Saga, but I love all of them. Also Blade Runner, Trainspotting, Nightcrawler and many others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My trip to California was just amazing, it helped me improve my english a lot, and I met so many amazing people that made me fall completely in love with Los Angeles. I can't wait to be back. Probably the best thing ever was a wonderful rave I've been called Nocturnal Wonderland, with my best friend that now lives there in the USA. It was amazing, wonderful people, wonderful music and my first experience ever camping. A dream came true.
