ABOUT ME

I'm not easy to understand... But you don't have to understand me, to appreciate me!
I'm a naive, sincere person. I'm maternal and affectionate, this leads me to get fast attached to people... But if I don't like something or someone, I'll never be able to fake. I always think what I say, I always say what I think. But I'm not good in saying what I feel.

PHILOSOPHY

As it's said, "Never put off till tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow". Unless it's a travel!
As an english proverb teaches, "the way to a man's heart is through his stomach". That's why my gift is... cooking!

I just begin participating to CS meeting in Rome, where I live ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm just arriving in Couchsurfing community... But everytime I can, I love lending my couch as visiting my friends... and cooking for them!

Interests

I love cooking. Baking, roasting, toasting, steaming, sautéing, braising, slow-cooking, "pastrying". Cooking is the art of mixing ingredients together to create a new something, and the more you love the people you cook for, the best you obtain results!
I love travelling: to discover new places, learn languages, meet locals, taste food, but above all to share new experiences with my mates.

Music, Movies, and Books

"Cinema is an invention without a future". It's true: a movie can't be fully understood outside its backgrounds. I love old B&W Hollywood's movies or Nouvelle Vague, but I like watching a relaxing movie that makes me smile, that makes me happy, that makes me forgetting all my problems for a while. With a glass of red wine, dark chocolate and excellent company.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I could say "my Erasmus program", but I took it in the quietest city in France, Angers...
I think that the best memory is the one that has yet to come!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm so good at cooking and shopping that I could easily give lessons :D
I can teach my language, Italian, and two other languages I know well, as French and Latin.
As I'm interested in Ancient Rome, I can be an excellent chaperon in the city I live, Rome.
