I am Dutch/Italian, living in Amsterdam since 2004.

My background is in social sciences, Cultural Anthropology and International Development and it is for this study I decided to move to Amsterdam and never left. I have travelled extensively over the past 23 years to over 50 countries.

After years of traveling alone, I enjoy a more interactive way of traveling these days. Staying with locals who have more in dept knowledge about a place. I also have welcomed travelers, although never through couch surfing, and showed them around the city.
