ABOUT ME

Hey everyone, I graduated school in LA and am embarking on a teaching English in Korea stint. I dabble in photography and other such things. I like to write screenplays, poetry. I make movies and have recently started painting.

I'm a Pisces, and drink more coffee than I should

I dig table-top mysticism - feng shui, horoscopes, incense, osho and being "spiritual, but not religious."

Also, happiness is having to swap out your typewriter for your computer in order for you to be able to type faster.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to resist placing judgement and peer pressure on others. I find that these forces are ones for dominating the masses and ensuring social conformity. Better that people be different, wild, out of the box, and subversive, even if it means we all have to put up with gross mustaches. ;-)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My former roommate Jenna got me started on Couchsurfers. She was very kind in planning and bringing people into our apartment in Portland, Oregon, USA. Now that I'm leaving for abroad, I imagine, I'll be tapping into the good people here and seeing if I can visit others.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was living in Prague at the time and decided to go to Italy for the weekend. Well, it was Easter weekend and everything was booked and so decided to go to Amsterdam instead... but that too was booked. So at the last minute, I found a lovely woman named Basha on craigslist and had an excellent time seeing the sites (and the coffee shops) of the city.

I love photography, writing and, being outdoors. I'm always down to try local beers and go on random adventures.

I lived in Prague for a semester and it changed my life. It's where I felt the stillness of snowfall and learned I wanted to be a writer.
