ABOUT ME

I am a press photographer who likes travel and historical subjects (http://andreas-bastian.com). I lived in Poznan, Poland for many years (Mowie po polsku) and returned to my hometown Bremen, Germany in 2019.

PHILOSOPHY

Listen to your heart, mostly it s right what it tells you.
For me important: Time you cannot buy and you do not know how much you have in life. So besides duties like work, its a good idea to spend this time with friends and other good people.

Not much, but very positive. Geert in Belgium was incredibly nice and helped me out with a lot of information for my mission.

Interests

Photographpy, history, cinema, reading, travelling, politics, languages as there are for me Polish (it s so hard the learning never ends) and English. And I love riding the bicycle and eat good food from all over the world!

Music, Movies, and Books

-I like music from Classic to Motorhead, it just has to be good . My favourite Polish jazz band is Marcin Wasilewski Trio. And I love CAT POWER. If you don t know her, you have to cheque it out!
-It s difficult with favorites, but let me name these books: "Master and Margarita" by Michail Bulgakov and "Imperium" by Ryszard Kapuscinski.
- Movie: "Don't Look Now" with Donald Sutherland / another one: "Ride with the devil" by Ang Lee / i "Krotki film o milosci"
