CURRENT MISSION

After several years of moving through academia, I decided to put off a PhD and put all my energy into writing a book. Now I'm currently trying to get the finished article published. Also working as a junior game developer (Unreal and C++).

I like a good debate and am not attracted personalities that hinder open-minded discussions. I love to learn and am drawn to passion in any form. All I really want to do is meet new people and understand them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Mainly hosted but also surfed a couple of times. It's been a great experience (see comments). I've met some great people and been delighted to be in such great company.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Apart from the above, I've also met some of my favourite people through couchsurfing. It has always seemed to attract some of the most interesting individuals.
I hate to choose favourites but my most memorable guests were perhaps a Polish pair. They cooked incredible food, shared their culture, brought presents, partied hard and were both amazing people. Events like these reinstill my faith in humanity...briefly.
