I am a warm, happy, easy going and open minded person that loves meeting people with open hearts and open minds from all over the world. I love being outside in the elements and going on different adventures, no matter what place on the planet or time of the year. In my quiet time I like to read, meditate and do yoga. I respect and honor nature greatly.

I believe that the best way to get to know a new culture and new place is from inside, with a local. I don't like tourism with hotels and package tours where you are completely detached from the place you are visiting and just staying in an artificial bubble. Everywhere I've been, the best times I've had were when I became part of the environment, when I merged in. And that happened because someone local was open enough to share their world with me. I am very grateful that there are such people and when I stop having itchy feet and settle down, I would love to offer my home to couchsurfers too and share my little world with them to return the kindness and openness.

I've spent one beautiful month living in the Amazon jungle, working and learning from the local community.

I love sharing and shared learning, exchange of knowledge, wisdom and skills. I'd love to share with you my knowledge of yoga and meditation, wisdom and experience I gathered on the road, language skills and anything we have shared interest in. I have worked many years as a language teacher and spent many summers at camps with kids so I have lots of patience:)
