ABOUT ME

We live in New York and go to Columbia/Barnard. Eli is a commercial diver and works as a welder part-time. He is majoring in archaeology. Claire is a political science major. We love to travel and explore the world. Eli has been to Indonesia and India and Claire to China.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We are first time CouchSurfers, although our friends are active CSers. Claire has hosted lots of bands and friends, just never through CS!

兴趣

We like adventures. We have a pet bunny. We are kind of obsessed with good food (Eli is VP of a sustainable food project). We have been to some amazing places. We are also interested in photography and stop motion animation, and have a grand plan to stop motion animate Buckminster Fuller's Tetrascrolls (if we ever get our Super 8 working).

We have varied tastes in movies, music and books but the last movie we went to see was A Serious Man...the next movie we want to see is Imaginarium.

The first book we read together was Watership Down (it's how Claire convinced Eli they needed a rabbit).

We enjoy dark humor as much as whimsy.
