ABOUT ME

I'm half Dutch, half German, born in Amsterdam, raised in Wijk aan Zee. Making choices is a something I am having troubles with.. there are so many things that I want to see and do and learn. In the end I managed to decided for Future Planet Studies (how cool does that sound) in Amsterdam. It's an idealistic study about environment and sustainability, which is one of my big interests.
I'm friendly, curious, perfectionist. I find going out of my comfort zone can be liberating. It's easier to stick to what you know, but way less fun (this is one of the reasons why I love traveling).
Sometimes I'm chaotic, not good at managing time and logistics, but I hope my enthusiasm makes up for that :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfed many couches, hosted a few.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Two years ago I went on a trip that ended in taking the Transiberian Express from Beijing to St. Petersburg and hitchhiking from there back to Amsterdam. During that period I surfed a lot of couches together with my friend Stan. I met great people, and always I am stunned by people's hospitality.

兴趣

Rock climbing is one of my favourite things to do. Yoga, hiking, camping, movies, music, food, coffee and art are all in my top 10 as well. I'm interested in sustainability, biology, spirituality, woodworking at the moment, and many more . I work at a climbing gym in Amsterdam. Also I help my dad with his self-made carrousel for kids, which is a lot of fun to do. Happy faces al day :)
