About Me
Yo, Couchsurfers. I'm Elias, a Brussels-based entrepreneur who's on a mission to build something epic while exploring this crazy world. I'm the guy who'll drag you to the gym at ungodly hours, then show you the best most unknown spots in town to make up for it. I devour books like they're going out of style and I'm always hungry for new ideas. If you're into deep conversations that don't involve the weather or what you had for lunch, we'll get along just fine.As a guest, I'm not here to be a burden. I'll respect your space, contribute to the household, and probably leave your place cleaner than I found it. Fair warning: I might challenge you to a push-up contest. It's kind of my thing.
I'm all about finding the spots that tourists miss and the local joints that make a place tick. I'm here to connect with people who are as curious and driven as I am. If you're content with the status quo, we might not click. But if you're looking to push your limits and maybe learn something new, let's link up.
Don't expect me to sugarcoat things or tiptoe around topics. I'm all about real talk and authentic experiences. If that sounds like your cup of espresso (none of that frappy-latte nonsense), then we're gonna have a good tome. So, if you're up for an adventure that's more "Wolf of Wall Street" than "Eat, Pray, Love," hit me up. about.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because I'm hungry for experiences that you can't find in a guidebook. Sure, I could book a hotel and tick off tourist spots, but where's the adventure in that? I'm here to dive headfirst into local cultures, to see cities through the eyes of the people who call them home. It's about those late-night conversations that start with "So, where are you from?" and end with solving the world's problems over a local brew. I'm looking for the kind of connections that turn strangers into friends in the span of a weekend.

Music, Movies, and Books
My taste in music? It's a goddamn global expedition. I'm talking obscure Moroccan trance, underground Japanese jazz, forgotten Delta blues - if it's got soul and it's off the beaten path, it's in my playlist. None of that Top 40 BS here.
Wanna see? Spotify is waiting.
The con of this? I don’t have a favourite song
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One week, I'm sitting at home, bored out of my mind, when I get this crazy idea. "Screw it," I think, "I'm going to the Azores." No plan, no booking, just me and my backpack. I jump on Couchsurfing, send out a bunch of requests, and bam! This cool local dude agrees to host me. Next thing I know, I'm on a plane to this paradise in the middle of the Atlantic. My host? He's a freaking legend. Takes me to this hidden golf camp that tourists never find. If you want something close to paradise, well that’s the place. This last-minute trip? It turned into the most insane adventure of my life. Proof that sometimes, the best plan is no plan at all. And thanks to Couchsurfing, I didn't just see it, I lived it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm all about the give and take of knowledge. I love helping people get it, seeing that "aha!" moment. It's not about being bossy, it's about lighting a spark. Always hungry for new stuff, whether it's about business, health, or just life. I'll pick your brain if you let me. Sharing? That's where the magic happens. I'm not stingy with what I know, and I'm always up for swapping ideas. It's not just about talking, it's about growing together. So if you're up for some good chats and trading know-how, I'm your guy. Let's learn from each other and maybe we'll both walk away a little smarter. Sound good?
