We are Camila and Elías, a traveler couple, passionate wanderers and tireless searchers. She is Colombian, he is Argentinian, both living in the pacific coast of México when it is time to stay quiet for a while.

This year we could finally get everything ready to get back on track and approach those places that we always felt so far away, witnessing close antic religions and listening to dialects completely different to ours. We are extremely curious about the local habits and always ready to learn about different traditions, meet new people and reach foreign spots to enrich our life experience.

Because this platform is made to connect directly with local people and break down the wall of tourists. That is exactly our vocation!

For us, traveling is not a vacation or a job, it is literally our way of life. I mean, we stayed quiet because of the pandemic and the hunger for movement we have right now is so much that this 2023 feels like a rebirth. We hope that couchsurfing works as a shortcut to meet authentic people on the places we go.

Interessi

We both have a special interest in yoga practice and meditation. This is our personal fascination, feeding our presence on the trip to experience reality with all senses open.

We are also starting our travel blog, focused on supporting readers interested in exploring the world, reaching authentic local experiences, hacking their minds, collecting anecdotes, avoiding scams and developing the transcendental skill of opening the heart to the unknown. Writing is the therapy that we have to process the enormous amount of information that usually shakes us along the trip.

Sport running in a strange city, table games, gardening and nature are the basic magnets that normally hook us, but we are ready to leave everything behind if we get some open road to a place where there is a chance to experience something unique, like camping under the Sahara stars or swimming through a big lake.

We can hike, have a run, swim, explore your city, go out or simply chill. We both like to cook (mostly vegetarian) so we can make a nice meal together. We also love to host people so you can tell us when you come to the Mexican coast.
