ABOUT ME

I'm a dirt road girl; grew up on a farm and know what it means to work hard from sun up to sun down.
I got the travelling bug when I was about 16, and I've been out and about since then, in between being a full time student and working of course.
I love to laugh, and hate to be stressed, or to be around stressed people. Cooking a big meal for me and all my friends may be my favourite thing in the whole world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Right now I live in a tiny single room, so I can't host, but I enjoy meeting other CS'ers, especially when they are kind enough to let me stay at their places!

I'm new to the couchsurfing game, but so far I love it!

Interests

I'm willing to learn about anything, and want to learn about everything. I love to travel and to learn. So, I guess those would qualify as my main interests, and everything else in life pretty much falls into those two categories, conveniently enough.

Music, Movies, and Books

Yes please!
I watch movies to give myself a mental break, so my tastes aren't overly discriminating.
I almost always have music playing.
Books make me smile. I love to read, and always have. I'm an english and history major, so it comes with the territory, but nothing makes me happier than getting a course syllabus with 5 books listed that I've never read.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach and Share: You have to be able to laugh. At everything. I'm not sure how to teach that, but I think saying it (sharing it) is a good start.
Learn: I want to learn how to make sushi.
