Hi everyone! I'm Elie, I'm 19 years old and I am a student born and raised in Los Angeles. I'm an acting major, hopefully to be studying in London in the years to come, when I inevitably fall in love with the city like I can feel I will. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I coming to visit Europe for the first time and am definitely on a student budget hah! My sister suggested couch surfing as she has recently gotten to travel Europe herself this way. I will be meeting her in Dublin however, I want to adventure off in Amsterdam, Barcelona, Paris, and more in my treasured four weeks abroad. Looking for safe, friendly, and awesome places to stay on my journey. :)

Interests

My interests include, exploring the world around me, hanging with my friends who I cherish and love deeply, spending time at the beach, in the water. Taking pictures, singing, making art, exploring the boundaries of my creativity. Reading scripts, analyzing characters I am performing as, or would like to. Writing, delving into a personal fashion as well as music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's not that I don't feel accomplished or ambitious/affirmative for my age, however I still do think I have lot's of life and lot's of amazing experiences to come. Some highlights: Surviving a terrifying auto accident last year which left me suspended in the air upside down with multiple fractures in my lower back (all healed now, also how I am funding my trip!!), Winning First place against 150+ competitors in state-wide, DTASC Acting Festival Competition for the World theater category in which I performed an entire scene in Yiddish, a language as foreign to me and my fellow scene members as any. It was a truly enriching and meticulous process, one which I will never forget.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love people, the fight for human rights is the most important struggle to me because despite our place in this infinite Universe, we all, as people, matter. Our range of emotion and conscious thought prove this, at least to me. I also fully believe in the importance of seeing the world we inhabit, which is why I am so ecstatic as to finally be able to start this adventure! To grow, shape my brain, expand my knowledge, and gain new perspective.

What I Can Share with Hosts

What I can bring to the hosts who are gracious enough to allow me to crash is, a positive, fresh-faced set of eyes and thoughts, eager to communicate, and have a great adventure! I can also play maid and cook if that would be convenient lol. I love cooking breakfast in the morning and have no problem keeping neat and clean.
