About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My mission in life is to enrich peoples lives by inspiring them to live their dreams and follow their soul path! Whatever that may be, I think it is a worthwhile mission! I also would like to teach you how to do a hand stand!
ABOUT ME
Im really nice, friendly, and open person and I like nice, considerate, and thoughtful people. I like to make people feel good about themselves and empowered to take action in their path of fulfillment by being fun and easy to be around.
PHILOSOPHY
If it feels good do it, even if you shouldn't, don't let people mess you around!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I would like to come and stay, help out where I am needed, and meet people who are interested in food security, learning new skills (I bow hunt, can and ferment things), who like to garden, bike, and eat delicious food and booze.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I stayed with a pirate musician from Israel in San Francisco. We stayed on his floor as he packed, then helped him move in to a new place the following day. It worked out for us both. He took us out to an awesome show and great coffee shop!
Interests
I live and work in Calgary as a beekeeping educator throughout the summer and winter months. I love to travel, but I am finding that my travels usually tie in with my beekeeping adventures! I like to work with my hands, and if I am not beekeeping, farming or harvesting food, I love to fish, bow hunt, and eat! I am an activist for helping build a local food economy, but I wouldn't say that I am politically charged in conversation nor in action... I just like helping people out and teaching/learning through experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Beekeeping in Eldorodo Canyon, CO by morning light, then climbing the sandstone walls of the canyon in the heat of the afternoon sun for a few weeks in 2011, then BBQing in the evening with new friends by the spring freshest. The most genuine collection of souls, the most congenial community of people, and the most love given away without expectation I have ever experienced in my short life. I felt relaxed, exhausted, and free! It was wonderful.
Realizing I was lost in a prefecture of Tokyo with my arms full of laundry, hoping to find a laundry mat. 4 tailor and seamstress shops, 5 impromptu guides, and about 5kms of walking within 200m of the actual laundromat, we made it. It made me love and appreciate the intensity of urbanization and the humanity that can thrive within it.
