CURRENT MISSION

Trying to survive in this world ! I just arrived in Aubagne for a 6 months job and I would like to meet new people.

ABOUT ME

I am currently an intern engineer in seismology and study seismic hazard. Next I am going to do a phd in marine seismology.
I think I am an open-minded person (well, I hope to be !), honest, but not perfect ! I am always looking at new ways to travel and discover new things, and sometimes I don't need to go very far to get that.

PHILOSOPHY

Carpe diem maybe...or just follow my mother's advices. But usually I don't think and just listen to what I want at the time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new on cs...so I still don't have direct experiences. But tw of my closest friends told me that it was really great, and managed to meet lots of people and fun.

Interessen

Expect staying in my bed and think of the meaning of life (very good movie by the way...) I enjoy a lot of things...meeting my friends, a good movie...

I also enjoy running outside toward unkown places and adventure. I usually enjoy to climb volcanoes when there are some (I went to Stromboli, Auvergne, Piton de la Fournaise, Eifel)...and as a geoscientist I am ecstatic in front of every block of rocks ! I love to explore nature and to travel. That is one of the reason why I chose to study earth sciences.

I like to have some drinks with friend after a hard day of work.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Godard, Lubitsch, Haneke, Tarantino, Lynch, Fellini and many others, I almost like all of them !
(currently I have a secret passion for Bollywood movies but sssh...)

Lolita (Nabokov), The brothers Karamazov (Dostoievski), all from Conrad, some of French literature...are those which really "talked" to me.

almost everything...I reaaly like to discover new band, interpretations, songs...

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

A 5 years old lava flow still smoking 200 meters from the ocean in La Reunion island. Well it is quite incredible for me...Just imagine the power of this lava flow 5 years ago (yes sometimes I am a stupid scientist...)

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I can teach French, maths, physics, geosciences...I can also cook and knit !
Learn...I would like to learn as much as possible !
